The Carrillo Underwater Systems Scholarship for MATE ROV Design Competition Participants is a scholarship provided by the company's President, Rob Carrillo. Parts will be awarded to teams for no cost or for a discounted price depending on the number of applications submitted and the placing of each applicant. These awards are for team participants in the middle school, high school, and college levels of the MATE ROV Design Competition. These awards consist of lights and cameras. Any team is eligible for application and winners may apply again. All recipients will be expected to provide an update on their ROV's progress with pictures as well as a goal evaluation twice each month to be posted on the CUS web site. Recipients will also be expected to have their team and ROV published in school, local, or professional printed media.
